  1. What forms of payment do you accept?

At Ibiza Foils we accept all credit and debit cards, bank transfer and PayPal.

  1. Do I have to leave a deposit?

You have to leave 50% deposit on booking (Ibiza and Mallorca)

1500 Euros when renting without instructor (Ibiza and Mallorca)

2000 AED for rentals without instructor (Dubai)

  1. Do you have discounts for residents?

At Ibiza Foils we have the most competitive prices, and we run all year so there is a low season price for everyone on the island.

  1. What is the difficulty level?

People who have any experience surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and/or foiling will quickly be able to master a hydrofoil.
For those with no experience, do not worry. It’s very easy to learn how to use an eFoil. Our products are designed in a way that is easy and fun to use, for all types of levels- from beginners to advanced riders.

  1. Do I need an instructor?

If you don´t have any experience then you need to have at least 3 supervised lessons to get to ride on your own. Instructors are there for your safety and the keeping off the board making sure the set-up is correct in order to maintain the standard of our service.
If you have enough prior experience and you, don´t want an instructor you have to leave a 1500 € mandatory deposit.

  1. What happens if I run low on battery while riding the eFoil?

The controllers will automatically throttle you back to a low power setting allowing you to get back to shore safely.

You should always maintain knowledge of the battery levels, which are displayed clearly on the controller and when it indicates you are on the lower levels of the battery make sure that you are always within reach of safety.

  1. Who can use the hydrofoils?

Larger people are capable of riding an eFoil, but our factory recommendations are 45kg – 110kg.

  1. What is the age limit to ride a hydrofoil?

For commercial use is 18 and for privet hire and personal use there is no limit but there has to be an adult supervising if the rider is a minor.

  1. Do I need to bring anything before showing up to a session?

We provide everything, but depending on weather and temperature is advisable to bring your own personal wetsuits and a snack and water.

FAQ When Buying

  1. How does the pre-order process work?
    By paying a refundable* deposit you will secure your spot to receive the limited production. We will ship according to the order it was received, but once the limited quantity produced this year runs out, you will have to wait until new production is manufactured. So if you want your product sooner, pre-order today.

*If a refund is issued 3 months after placing a deposit, there will be a non-refundable credit card transaction fee of 100€.

  1. What type of safety features exist with your products?

There are multiple safety features in the electronic system that will be reflected clearly to the owners when the board is delivered. We advise you read the instructions carefully along with the safety labels clearly marked on the components of the product. The most important safety feature to note is the use of protective equipment and caution while using the product to avoid injury while riding. We can provide extra safety gear.

  1. How do I use your products?

On our website, you can find a page for each product we have to offer.  There you will find all the videos, pictures as well as information on how to use and how to purchase our products.

  1. Do your products have any warranties?

Yes. A one-year manufacturer’s limited warranty.

  1. What does the limited warranty cover?

The manufacturer’s limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

During the warranty period, we’ll replace, at no extra charge*, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

*You are responsible for all shipping costs.

  1. What will we do to correct problems with your purchase?

We work with all the suppliers official guidelines and we manage any inconvenience that has been caused and rectify it as soon as possible taking it up directly with the suppliers on the clients behalf.

  1. What do you have to do to obtain warranty service?

To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you. You have to send a full history of the problem where we will evaluate it and report it in the correct procedure in order to safeguard the client´s warranty.

  1. Can I return my product?

All sales are final.
